Bio

A CHANCE FOR PEACE is a documentary film, started by me, Tyler Batson. I volunteed in Kenya 2 months before violence erupted in Kenya following the lack of a free and fair presidential election. ACFP is an extension of my service there and an attempt to EDUCATE those naive to the Kenyan experience, their hope, and resilience. The strength of spirit of the Kenyan people demonstrates a very human story of hope, love, and loss that we can all learn from. Africa is not “the Dark Continent” but, rather, composed of men, women, and children, struggling with economic disparities and limited resources. Many are treading the line between peace and crisis and Kenya is mobilizing and ready to rebuild... from the ground up!
